Regular	Licensed companies that sell, install, service or monitor burglar or fire alarm systems in the Commonwealth of Virginia that has been in business for at least one year.
Associate	Manufacturers or suppliers of equipment or services for alarm industry.
Individual	Persons who engage in businesses that provide support or significant contributions to the electronic security industry; are not employed by a licensed electronic security business; and are not eligible for another membership category.
Public Safety	Members of police or fire departments of any governmental organization, or any governmental agency concerned with law enforcement or fire safety.
Honorary	Honorary Membership may be conferred on any individual by a unanimous vote of the Board of Directors. Honorary membership shall be dues-free and lifelong.
Affiliate	Individual or business entities that do not qualify for membership under any other membership category. The affiliate member must contribute significant value or expertise to the electronic systems industry, or provide design, installation, service, or monitoring of electronic security systems for their own use and not to the general public or to alarm dealers.
